Logically some great Astrologers are in this favour that one will not be wealthy or get money from his /her spouse , if he / she does not earn him self / her self.But it is not correct.
Hidden things are seen from 8th house and it is 2nd to 7th house.Does it not mean that 2nd house in the chart of your spouse indicates wealth for you whether he / she earns or not.It is hidden for you.A mere tangible gift of the 8th house is receiving money from purse or pocket of your spouse.The 8th house is the second house from the 7th house or say relationship and represents other people’s money in general especially one’s spouse.

Firstly know what does great guruji Prof.K.S.Krishnamurti ji write in this regard
- Page 160 – Paragraph 1:
Krishnamurthi Paddhati: Take that house which represents the relationship. For Father and for strangers take only the 9th house. Find out where the cusp falls. If the sub lord of the cusp is in the constellation of the planet who is the significator of Badhaka and Maraka sthanas, boldly declare that he is dead.
- Page 160 – News about the person – When? , Third line
“——on the day Moon transits that (1) position of the zodiac (sign, star and sub) which is governed by the significators of 3 counted from the ascendant, (2) 3rd counted from the house representing the relative and the 11th from the ascendant………..”
- Page 174 – Will my 3rd son construct a building?
The number given by the querist shows his lagna. The query is about his third son. The first child is shown by the 5th house counted from lagna. Younger brother and sister is shown by the 3rd house. The second child is therefore is shown by 3rd to 5th, i.e. 7th from lagna and similarly the 3rd is shown by 3rd to 7th i.e. 9thfrom lagna. Therefore the lagna of the third child is the 9th house. (Note: The question is about 3rd child and 9th house is taken as lagna)
- Page 213 – Can I gain in lottery? When? Third paragraph.
The query may be for the querist himself or for some relative or friend. If the query is for himself, make all the calculations from lagna. If it is for younger brother or sister, take the 3rdhouse counted from the lagna as ascendant for that younger brother or sister. If it relates tomother take 4th house. To son or daughter take 5th. To wife or partner take 7th. To father take 9th and to elder brother and sister take 11th and find out.

As the 9th house represents father, his walking out of the house should be judged from the houses 3, 9 and 12 counted from the 9th house i.e. to his lagna 11th, 5th and 8th houses to Libra.

Subhash Ektare is also of the opinion that, If the query is for some other person, lagna needs to be rotated to the house representing that person. I had also mentioned that – chart is rotated is the right answer beyond any doubt , if Horary chart is prepared on the basis of number uttered by consultant.It is immaterial as to when chart is prepared in respect of this thread.Because there is issue if chart has to be rotated or not.Take query of theft and recovery from reader VI.
[1]You will find there that-
Lagna indicates the querist himself /herself,whose property has been stolen and 7th house indicates the thief.
[2] 7th house will indicate spouse whose property has been stolen and 1st house indicates the thief
[3] 3rd house will indicate younger brother whose property has been stolen and 9th house indicates the thief
[4]4th house will indicate mother whose property has been stolen and10th house indicates the thief
[5]5th house will indicate son whose property has been stolen and11th house indicates the thief
[6]6th house will indicate maternal uncle whose property has been stolen and12th house indicates the thief
[7]9th house will indicate father whose property has been stolen and 3rd house indicates the thief
Further property lost will be judged by houses 2,6,11 counted from the houses indicating the thief.
In this case consultant is the same person who may put question for the stolen property of his/her own or of his/her spouse or of his/her younger brother/sister or his/her mother or his/her son or his /her maternal uncle or his/her father.But you will see that ascendant is taken 1 or 7th or 3rd or 4th or 5th or 6th or 9th cusp and for convenience chart is rotated to find the respective ascendant and again for these different persons thief is also judged from their corresponding seventh house i.e from 7th or 1st or 9th or 10th or 11th or 12th or 3rd house.
Please do go through example-Once Sri Ravindra Grover Ji had put a query to know / or to test the astro knowledge of the students of this forum and he had put a number uttered by his brother or someone to know the timing of birth of a baby.I was perhaps quite fortunate to tell the date/month and timing of birth of baby.I have forgotten at this time message number.Dr.Senthil Ji should see if answer was possible without rotating chart or considering the house representing that person for whom query was put and this is also done for convenience .
There are many examples from where you can note it that chart is rotated to arrive at corresponding ascendant of person about which question is put by consultant when horary chart is prepared on the basis of number uttered by consultant. Not only this but time chart should be also rotated If the query is for some other person.
